The love of baking and passion for painting seemed a perfect blend to produce our Springerle cookies. After watching the wonderful little art object emerge out of fresh ingredients. Choosing just the right colors on the embossed image was just too incredible not to share.

The first Springerle mold was acquired  in 1983 and the collecting began. We never tire of seeing the embossed image that emerges as we press out the cookie, and after painting it (with FDA approved food coloring) the cookie comes alive.
We like to think, every cookie tells a story, now.....“what’s it telling you?”
