Welcome! This is Beth and Jan, we bake and hand paint Springerle cookies that can be eaten, or dried to become decorative ornaments. Our cookies are made by hand,  using some replicated antique molds, others are custom designed by us, which we feel is the most fun.  We hope you appreciate the time, attention, creativity, and love that go into each of our cookies.

The love of baking and passion for painting seemed a perfect blend to produce our Springerle cookies. After watching the wonderful little art object emerge out of fresh ingredients. Choosing just the right colors on the embossed image was just too incredible not to share.

We were blessed with a mother that had many hobbies, and making cakes was one of them. People commented that her cakes looked as if they were created by a “French pastry Chef. ” Our Mom had talent! Growing up in that environment, we enjoy many hobbies. such as Rug Hooking, Rosemaling and Confectionery treats! We came upon our first Springerle mold in 1983 and the collecting began. We never tire of seeing the embossed image that emerges as we press out the cookie, and after painting it (with FDA approved food coloring) the cookie comes alive.
We like to think, every cookie tells a story, now.....“what’s it telling you?”
